I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and warmly welcome you to Krystal Hosting. We host nearly 200,000 websites on behalf of over 24,000 clients and have just celebrated our 15th birthday, so you’re in experienced hands! Our values and ethos are very similar to Squirrel’s and I’m confident that you’ll love the service and support we provide. We've already securely migrated your client information and services (domains and hosting packages) into the Krystal Client Area. We haven’t yet migrated your actual hosting, databases or email data to our platform. You’ll be able to do that using our in-house migration wizard, KARMA at a time that’s convenient to you.
Login in to your new Client Area at https://krystal.co.uk/client/ (please update your bookmarks!)
To login you will need to initiate a password reset using the same email you used to login at Squirrel.
Please check that everything is there that should be, if there’s anything missing or incorrect please contact us immediately.
If you’d like to pay via card please add a card to file to ensure uninterrupted service. If you’d like to use PayPal or pay via Bank Transfer you can just wait until your next invoice is raised.
Please note that we'll honour paid time and we won't bill until your next renewal.
Migrate your hosting hosting plan using KARMA (Krystal Automated Retrieval & Migration Assistant)
KARMA is available for you to use 24/7 so you can migrate whenever suits you best. It will take care of moving everything over, including your hosting files, databases, domains and emails. Head over to KARMA to for more details and to complete your migration.
You can choose to migrate your package whenever you like but I strongly encourage you to move sooner rather than later. Not only will we be able to provide you with more timely support on our infrastructure but also you’ll benefit from the following;

This is where you manage your contact information and billing for services you have with us, such as domain names, web hosting plans and servers.
We have already securely ported across all of your user information and you should be able to login without issue. To login you’ll need to initiate a password reset request by clicking the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link.
Please ensure that your contact email address is kept up to date as we use it to send invoices, reminders, and other important information relating to the operation of your service(s).
Currently your hosting plan is still on it’s old home. When you’ve migrated it using KARMA you’ll be able to login using the same credentials as before by going to 'YOURDOMAIN'/cpanel

We will be changing your Hosting plans to align with our own - you can check the table below to see what service you will be moving to at Krystal. If you'd like to upgrade or downgrade your service you can at any time via your client area.

Any active domains you had with Squirrel have been migrated into our system. We will be retagging the UK domains to our tag 'KRYSTAL'. We will send you renewal e-mails just the same way Squirrel did. Our prices are comparable to Squirrel's but not exactly the same - for a full price listing please see our domain names page.
Our support site is your one-stop shop for getting assistance. We’ve built a rich resource that includes how-to videos, a comprehensive knowledgebase of technical articles and a series of troubleshooter wizards to guide you through fixing the most common problems. Best of all we’re constantly developing it, so if something’s missing, let us know and we’ll add it.

8 years ago, Christina and I were running a successful web design business which relied upon dependable hosting. After many years of outsourcing, it seemed a natural progression that we take this in-house. We were determined to create a good customer service experience as well as a brand and website that was easy to understand and accessible to all. After much excitement and many late nights, Squirrel Hosting was born, and so began a new chapter in our lives. We are immensely grateful for all of the support over the years that has helped Squirrel grow to where it is today.
With growth comes additional challenges. We’ve had issues with our current provider losing power, increasing prices (which we didn’t pass on) and utterly failing to remedy IP blacklisting which has caused clients significant and ongoing email problems. To add to this Christina and I had another enterprise that has suddenly started taking off. With only 2 of us there aren’t enough hours in the day to run both businesses to the level that we’d like and we felt that after 8 years we were ready for a new challenge.
We have a great deal of respect and fondness for you all and think it only fair that you receive the best service possible in our absence. In order to achieve this, we needed to find a hosting company that shared our ethos and that we could be confident would look after you as well, if not better, than we had.
