In this guide we show you how to restore a file / multiple files in your account to a previous date using JetBackup.

Pre-Requisitive

We start this guide already signed into cPanel. If you do not know how to sign into cPanel then your access information will have been provided to you in your welcome email or alternatively, you can sign in via the client area. If you’re one of our resellers, you can may sign into cPanel for one of your accounts using Web Host Manager.

Step One - Open a Backup
  1. Click File Backups icon under JetBackup section of cPanel
  2. Find the backup / point in time you wish to restore files from
  3. Click File Manager under the Actions column
Step Two - Select files / folders to restore
  1. Navigate to the file(s) / folder(s) you wish to restore
  2. Use the checkboxes on the left hand side of the list to select one or more files/folders that you wish to restore
  3. Click the Restore Selected button
  4. You will be asked to confirm you wish to restore the items to your account. To continue simply click the checkbox and click the Add to Restore Queue
  5. You will notice the restore action will show as in progress on the right hand sidebar of the same screen.
  6. Once the restore is completed it will show as Restore Completed on the right hand side.

That’s it! The selected file(s) / folder(s) will now have been restored to your account.
