Cache - Enable/Disable Onyx Cache

Enable Onyx Cache

To enable the server-level caching within Onyx follow the instructions below.

  1. Login to your Onyx Portal
  2. Select the site you wish to enable cache for
  3. Select Settings -> Caching on the left hand menu
  4. Click "Enable web caching" button

The cache will then enable. If you wait a few moments and you then refresh the screen to confirm this change you should then see the "Disable web caching" button in place of the enable button you just clicked. Cache is then enabled.

Note - If you're enabling cache after making several site changes then it is also recommended you clear the cache too. You can do this by clicking the "Purchase full web cache" button.

Disable Onyx Cache

To disable the server-level caching within Onyx follow the instructions below.

  1. Login to your Onyx Portal
  2. Select the site you wish to enable cache for
  3. Select Settings -> Caching on the left hand menu
  4. Click "Disable web caching" button

The cache will then be disabled. If you wait a few moments and you then refresh the screen to confirm this change you should then see the "Enable web caching" button in place of the enable button you just clicked. Cache is then disabled.
